Helen was born and raised in a suburb of Boston Massachusetts. She attended the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts, Boston. The program with which she studied was a flagship program unique to only that university. Along with classes, Helen joined the Curriculum Committee of the school as the Minutes keeper.
As her creativity and artistry grew, she opened her own business selling her art and appeared in various art galleries and city art festivals. One she enjoys yearly is the Cooper Young Festival.
Moving to the Memphis area in 2007, she expanded her talents and became a Senior Graphic Designer at a publishing company, and with her seniority of 10 years moved up to management.
Helen has a high work ethic and is a big team player. She loves serving others and values kindness. As a single mother at age 37, Helen enjoys volunteering at community bible study as a nursery teacher and playing with her own children.
Helen has organized multiple online charity events to raise money. She has raised over $3000 during the pandemic for groups like St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, The Children’s Music Fund, and The Black and Missing Foundation. Using our talents and gifts to help and care for others is something Helen believes in most.
